Quentin Tarantino launched an extraordinary tirade at an interviewer after refusing to answer questions about movie violence.

The Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction director erupted when Channel 4 News presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy asked whether there was a link between scenes in his notoriously bloody films and real-life attacks.

Tarantino, 49, snapped: ‘Don’t ask me a question like that – I’m not biting. I refuse your question. I’m not your slave and you’re not my master.

'You can’t make me dance to your tune. I’m not a monkey. I don’t want to talk about the implications of violence... because I’ve said everything I have to say about it.

‘I just refuse to repeat myself over and over again because you want me to for you and your show. And your ratings.’


Should we have movies that glorify violence? No. Why would we choose to get pleasure out of harming others and seeing others harmed? If you had to go through the pain and suffering that takes place in violent movies, I guarantee you would not find it pleasant. I mean, for most people, stubbing your toe – really sucks. Getting sliced and stabbed and exploded, would be much worse. No one really wants to go through that in reality.

Is violence in entertainment responsible for the violence that gets acted out in real life? No. We are responsible. Violence does not put itself on TV, does not glorify itself by creating fantasy scenes that could never really be done in reality with perfectly scripted lines so that everything sounds really cool and no one says something that isn’t funny or right on the mark, and everyone has the perfect outfit and makeup and hair and everything looks just right, and the smoke effects and the lighting and creating just the perfect ambiance for the scene. Violence in reality is really not cool at all.

However, do violent movies have an effect on us in bringing out more violence in reality? Of course. When we allow violence to be presented on our TV screens and in the movies as something cool, that is the message we’re giving and some people are going to watch this stuff and get this glorified idea of violence and want to be that cool too, and so some will end up trying it out, as for some the temptation will be too great, and they will go and cause harm.

And we know this. How many times have you walked out of a movie and there was something you really liked about it, and you are thinking-‘yeah, I’m going to try that out’, or ‘I’m going to act more like that, that was cool.’ Or you just start copying lines and behaviors that you saw in the movie.

Some will say that it’s one’s own choice and personal freedom to be able to have things like violent movies and video games, but that ‘freedom’ is tied to the entire system that rob others of their freedom to even just live or not be raped or not be. Even if you are not the one that carries out the violence in physical reality, if you are still glorifying it and supporting it, and living that example to others, who then do go and act out on it, then you are in fact responsible.

Obviously real freedom is that which doesn’t harm anyone. You are not the only being here, you are one of billions who are no less and no more than you, and thus we can’t count ourselves as separate from everyone else, and expect that we can live according to some rules while others have other rules, like we can have freedom even if that freedom takes away another’s freedom. How can you live according to a principle of so-called ‘freedom’, when it is actually robbing others of theirs? Exactly, you can’t. That’s not actually freedom. It’s abuse. We are talking about physical violence being done unto individuals. It’s obviously not acceptable in any way whatsoever.

What is one primary reason these kind of films are allowed? Is it because there are that many people who like violence? Did they like violence before they saw it as represented as something apparently awesome and cool? Did it start with movies/media, or did it start actually within the family, where parents who live patterns of getting a kick out of violence pass it on to the children and so on from generation to generation? So it is not something that humans are born with, it is learned through the examples around us as our parents, adults, video games, movies, books, etc that are in our environment that we’re exposed to. If we only had examples where there is no making violence a positive thing, then we would not learn that behaviour. And thus, why we must stop ourselves as the patterns of accepting violence that we exist as, to take responsibility for what we are accepting and allowing to exist in this world, that leads to people being harmed in every way possible, as within the principle of do unto another as you’d have done unto you, you would not want to be the victim of a violent act.

So back to what is the primary reason these kind of films and the positive portrayal of violence is allowed? Profit. It is good for business. It makes people accept war and want to be soldiers or mercenaries and go to war, which is all very profitable for the companies that supply the merchandise used in war. I mean, until the human being become able to direct their mind, as their thoughts, feeling and emotions, we are allowing human beings to become programmed to enjoy and get pleasure from violence, which then leads to actual violence being committed. It’s like a simple math equation, where you have this plus that, equals that.

It comes down to a simple point of, do you really want to support that which supports harm? When it is something not necessary, and not even real anyway? It is simply an energetic response to a certain stimulus, which prove you’re nothing more than a preprogrammed mind controlled robot.

We are all here, but we have never really been here. Because if we were really here, present in this reality in awareness of who we are, we'd actually have an understanding of how we're creating this world and reality, and how we create ourselves as personalities, and how everything that is here is you, carved from the same substance, thus separation is actually an illusion, and a very well-crafted one, as everything within your life as an individual has seemed to confirm the idea and belief that we are actually separate from each other, to the extent that the fact that we are not separate is actually seen as simply inconceivable, and it's not considered that we are actually the same life here, as we're the same substance that is cycling over and over again into the forms that manifest within and as this physical reality. And that we're all part of this one whole of existence, like the cells within a human body.

Even though we are here and there is no separation, we obviously aren’t acting as one but have accepted our nature and very being as one of separation, and thus have lived this separation into the physical, as allowing ourselves to go to war against each other, allowing each other to go without the most basic necessities as food and water, allowing ourselves to separate from one another within backchat and judgment toward/of one another. Where we do not even realize that we are only fighting ourself, fearing ourself, judging ourself, harming ourself, where we could easily have been the one in the position of suffering, and where we are accepting and allowing to be done unto others what we would not want done to us.

We have ‘forgotten’ that we all come from the same source, the same substance, created from the dust of the earth, and within this ‘forgetting’ that another is really ourselves in another form, we’re able to justify the harm and abuse taking place in the world, within the justification that it’s apparently not happening to ‘me’. Me as an individual apparently separate from the whole. 

This separation has resulted in us as humanity not really being here, as we have separated ourself from here in judgment/comparison in our mind, and as we’ve been within our mind busy with judgment/comparison, we’ve not actually been here, living as a fully aware part of existence, that is aware of oneself as all of existence, and that there is really no separation.

Since we have not been here, but have been within the mind within judgment and comparison, we have virtually no understanding of ourselves and how we create ourselves, and how we create this world as the reflection of who and what we’re living as. As we’ve created ourselves in unawareness, we’re not actually here, as real self-aware beings, and the consequence of this is the hell you see before you as all the abuse that’s taking place in this world, and the hell within, as the constant self abuse as the participation in thoughts, emotions, feelings that one experience inside oneself. As, if we’d understood just what it is we’re creating and how we’re creating it, we wouldn’t have created a world full of abuse and suffering. We wouldn’t have created ourselves as murderers, as rapists, as war, as starvation in a world of plenty, as wage-slaves working most of our life just to get by, as a money system where you must pay for your needs, as failed relationships, and where the physical reality as this world as nature and the animals, and as our own physical human bodies is being destroyed for profit.

And thus we must get an understanding of ourself and just how it is we create what is here as ourselves, through investigating ourselves in self honesty to actually see how we’ve created what is here by being busy participating in thoughts, instead of actually being here, present, aware in actual reality, so that we then can stop creating hell on earth, and create the kind of world that we would create as beings actually here, actually paying attention to this world and reality as it is ourselves, as it is not separate, and we have no idea what kind of a world that will be except that the we will no longer accept and allow abuse within ourself, as all of ourself, as all life here.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see that there are corporations whose purpose is to improve the images of countries and persons, despite what acts those countries and person have actually done, like brutally murdering innocent beings.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see that it is this way due to our acceptance and allowance of the corporations to have such control, and not considering that we should be aware of such entities that have such power and be aware of what they actually do, instead of having accepted the fabricated public relations propaganda that was presented to us when we knew it was too good to be true, but took the ‘easy way’ of just going along with what we were told.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that sophisticated propaganda would be required for so many to be accepting such an unsupportive and abusive system, day in and day out.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that in a system where not all are supported, you can pay those who are not supported to have just about anything done, including people staging events to be televised to incite the people of a country to want war with another country.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see that because we don’t have a system that supports everyone means that we have been and are taking things by force from each other.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that unless we all together make sure that we all have what we need, that we are going to have to then take it from each by force – this means war, murder, theft, and thus we are the creators of war, murder, theft by not standing together to ensure that we all have what we need, and do not have to take it by force.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that the current system has been sold to me just like any product that is professionally marketed, using tactics to convince me to buy into something that doesn’t actually support me.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that I have come to trust in specific symbols and video editing techniques as is used in for example news broadcasting to tell me that I can trust the information presented, so that I’ve become a zombie that is mind controlled by symbols and doesn’t do any critical evaluation of the information that is presented.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not consider that there are businesses that profit extensively from war, from all the equip that is created and utilized solely for the purpose of war, all the various vehicles and weaponry and from treatment of those injured by such, and that such business and corporations thus work to support war in order to support their profit.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not recognize the obvious separation and pure evil in the words of some of those in the media who have spoken in support of war, within blatant disregard of the lives that will be taken and those that will suffer brutally.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not consider that everything we’ve been told as reasons why to go to war with a certain country, has been fabricated in order to convince us to go to war when there was actually no need.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that people are so easily able to be manipulated as evidenced by the fact of the atrocities that a population allows its government to commit, that are beyond any kind of sanity, that many would have to be utterly brainwashed to allow and even condone such activities to take place.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that the elites and big family names of those who started some of the first big companies in the world, were actually upstanding citizens that cared about society when the events of history so obviously show that what they cared about and all they cared about what maximizing their profits, and would go to such extent as to brutally harm and kill any other beings without any regard for their life whatsoever, in order to secure profits.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see that charities have provided a point where corporations and individuals can make themselves look good by seeming to care by just contributing money to a charity organization, while accepting the same economic system in which people simply aren’t given enough money in the first place that they are allowed to have their quality of life dependent on what charity they get or do not get, in which case they are allowed to suffer and die, without any means to support themselves.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see that charity has served to allow the current exploitative system to continue by giving the appearance that ‘help is being given’ when the reality is that inadequate help is being given to only a few while the majority still suffer in unacceptable conditions, when such suffering is totally unnecessary, and is being perpetrated for the sake of a few to make profits and live lives of ridiculous excess on the backs of those they have enslaved.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that the concept of ‘national security’ was created and is used to justify war.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that propaganda is used to ‘propagate’ faith in something, and within this I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not recognize when I am allowing faith to be propagated in me based on some information that is presented, rather than investigating the information in common sense and seeing whether the information is within the principles that will manifest a world that is best for all, or whether it is supporting separation and abuse.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not consider that we could all be equal, that there is no reason that we exist as ‘elites’ and ‘the people’, the ‘haves’ and the ‘have-nots’, or any other names to describe these two polarity manifestations, except that a constant and continuous barrage of propaganda on a daily basis keeps us within beliefs and justifications of why things are the way they are, that ‘we’re doing the best we can’, to ‘hope for the future’, and anything and everything that’s ever been said or implied that we must accept the system as it is, as it is only through this constant stream of propaganda that such abuse and inequality is even allowed to exist, as when one sees the situation in clarity it is obviously unacceptable.

I commit myself to realizing that my lack of awareness of what is going on in this reality is the reflection of my lack of awareness of what is going on within myself.

I commit myself to realizing that it is by all of humanity standing together and ensuring that each has what they need, that we can end war and taking from each other by force. Within this, I commit myself to realizing that I am part of humanity and that I must actually live this as myself as an individual, as who I am, as a being who is committed to ensuring that all have what they need, and considers all life equal in all decisions.

I commit myself to investigating how I react to symbols, words, and pictures, to become aware of how I have become programmed to react to certain symbols, words, and pictures with specific predesigned reactions, so that I can stop those reactions to no longer exist as a mind-controlled zombie, but am free to investigate what is here without going into and being controlled by preprogrammed reactions where my behavior is then able to be manipulated by those that understand how the mind consciousness system works and would take advantage.

I commit myself to show that charity as it exists is actually evil, as it serves to keep the system in place which causes so many to suffer, and thus I commit myself to share the truth about what charity is to anyone that would present charity as the solution to the world’s problems.

I commit myself to realizing the simplicity of the solution of living in equality, and how it will put an end to competition, war, abuse and suffering for all beings and give all the best life possible which is unimaginable leaps and bounds above what most of us live like currently.

I commit myself to realize that in equality we all will live like millionaires, and there will be no reason to lie, cheat, and steal from one another, as we will all be effectively supported to thrive in this reality.
