Day 182: No More Difficulty Finding a Job: Equal Money Capitalism ENDS Unemployment

Equal Money & Economist's Journey to Life

The Problem:

In a system where employment is how you survive, unemployment is a massive problem. Earning money through being employed, is how you put food on the table, a shirt on your back, buy medicine or go to the doctor when you’re sick, put a roof over your head, and how you support your children in all those necessities of life as well, among other things. Thus if you don’t have a job, you lose all means to support yourself, and your family.

We currently do not effectively utilize the workforce in the world, as the potential we could reach if everyone was effectively trained and employed. There is a lot of work to be done in this world that is not being done, plenty to create jobs for everyone, jobs that involve taking care of this planet in ensuring that we are using resources in such a way that is sustainable. Ultimately, the way we are using the earth’s resources currently is at a rate that cannot be sustained for long, and thus once those resources run out, many many jobs will be lost. Like for example in the oil industry, where oil is used in practically all the products we buy and utilize, and within the production processes to create them, and the processes with which to extract the resources from the earth that we make them from.

Not enough skills/training

We don’t ensure that each and every individual is provided with support to develop most effectively, to be able to have the skills to perform jobs other than the low paying low skill labor. It’s not a level playing field, and as such the majority are stuck at the ‘bottom’ of the job food-chain, literally working in food chains, and jobs such as in the retail and service sectors, which is actually a form of slavery.

How it is now, is most employers offering the more ‘decent’ paying jobs are looking for skilled labor, those with degrees or training or previous experience in the particular field, and often a combination or all of those. So that excludes a large portion of the population who has none of those, and practically no way to get any skills or training as they don’t have enough money to afford it, and they are left to compete with everyone else in the same situation for the low paying service jobs that are available.

Not enough jobs

In the current system there are not enough jobs in order to have everyone effectively employed and earning an effective income. Many of the larger corporations get hundreds and hundreds of applications, but are only going to hire a few, and what happens to the rest? Throughout the world unemployment is a massive problem, where we have places of extreme poverty where individuals are hanging on to survival day by day and thus don’t have a place within labor system through which to earn an income to survive.

The starting point of this system is not to make sure that everyone is effectively placed within a job. It is for businesses to make the most profit possible while limiting costs as much as possible. As such, most jobs do not pay a fair wage that is enough to provide one with everything needed to live a dignified life. And we don’t make sure that every individual has been provided the opportunity to get the best training and education into practical skills that can be applied. This works out for those who have companies that make money off of other’s labor, as currently unskilled labor gets paid less for their time, and since they don’t have the skills to get better jobs, they have no choice but to go for the lower paying jobs like retail and food service. Which is really an ineffective use of labor, as those jobs just work to support profit gains and not actually provide a real benefit to life. Most of those things can be automated, like is already in place in for example grocery stores which have self checkout aisles. The only reason there is a person there is to make sure no one is stealing anything, which people do when they don’t have effective money to buy things, as stealing is never the first choice. If you enough money for everything you need, you’ll just buy it and not take the risk.

There are millions in the world that are unemployed, that is millions of people who could be participating in the system, but we haven’t effectively made sure that we are properly creating jobs so that there is enough for everyone, and that no matter what your situation, you are either provided with a job, or with the training to develop the skills to do a job. And often those at the ‘bottom’ of the job food-chain, often have to work more than one job as one just doesn’t provide enough income to effectively support oneself.

And then we have unemployment benefits to assist those who aren’t finding work, which only allows them to subsist while not changing the job situation in any way. And there are people that get angry at this, and blame them for not working, while ignoring that the problem is systemic in nature, as the system is blatantly failing to effectively direct Labor. And the longer you go without a job, the less likely you are to get hired, as employers don’t want people who have not been working for a while and maybe have gotten soft and haven’t been using their skills for a while and might be rusty, compared to someone who has just been working.

Abuse of labor

Unemployment is also allowed in order to take advantage of having more demand for jobs than there are jobs available, by those who have companies that make money off of other’s labor. As if there is more employees than there are demands, this puts the advantage on the business’ side, as they can have worse conditions such as low pay, no benefits, etc, and there will always be people who have no other choice but to take what is offered, as there is always an endless supply of people desparate to have some kind of income.

Abuse of animals and nature

Due to lack of sufficient jobs for everyone, individuals in dire situations have had to find any way possible to make money to survive, which has led to all kinds of abuse to nature and animals, like skinning animals alive to make clothing items and accessories which aren’t needed, but can provide those individuals with some money to survive.

Monopolies

Monopolies push out other competition by taking over a market and doing everything for cheaper by externalizing costs and paying employees less, which causes smaller businesses to go belly up as they can’t compete with the cheapness, and thus many jobs are lost for less quality jobs , putting more strain on the job market.

Machinery

When machinery is utilized to replace human labors, there is no structure in place to ensure that those whose positions have been taken over by machines have effective support to get into another position, and now there is even more competition in the job market.

The Solutions:

Full employment:

“Employment
One of the current problems is unemployment. Employment is the means through which each one acquires the means with which to sustain themselves - as, in return for one's contribution, one receives an income. Therefore - full employment is not a negotiable subject - because if one is not employed, one loses all means of supporting oneself.” (Day 162: EQUAL MONEY CAPITALISM - The Way Forward)

“How to Ensure Full Employment?
Q: How do we make sure everyone is employed; will we have to create meaningless jobs like in the army – dig a hole, cover a hole?

A: There are many jobs that require to be done that aren't being done at the moment - the Earth is barely taken care of. Remember that a company’s responsibility will extent further than merely the production of goods and services. Each company will have a Compassion and an Environmental Department.

Compassion Departments are a social function. Such departments will assist, for instance, with giving care to the elderly, organising and providing daycare, assisting victims of natural disasters and so on. Individuals whose jobs within the production process are replaced by technology, will instead be employed within the Compassion Department of the company and continue to receive their income.

Environmental Departments of a company fulfil the function of giving as one would like to receive. Companies will use resources from the Earth and will likely create pollutants that affect the environment. The Environmental Departments are in charge of giving back to the Earth in terms of assisting the environment to renew the resources that were taken, for instance, through tree-planting, creating dams, etc. Furthermore, it will assist within mitigating or stopping the negative effects of pollutants, such as, for instance, water or air purification.

Once everyone is employed and all meaningful jobs are being done - we decrease working hours. For instance, if a job requirement is 8 hours, 2 people can do 4 hours each. Also - people don't have to work for 60 years of their lives - we can go on retirement when we are 30-40.” (Day 168: The Future of Integrity with Equal Money Capitalism)


"OVERTIME / FREE TIME
The point will be to optimize FREE TIME

Overtime - working past your regular hours. There will be no need for overtime, it will be unnecessary, because it is not your labour that holds the value - it is your life and all life is valued equally. Overtime would only come into play when for instance a natural disaster occurs and those assisting are required to lend a helping hand for longer than usual because the situation demands so in that case, one doesn't get paid for overtime - because it is a point of compassion and understanding - and to show that one is more than a self-interested human. Overtime now only exists so people can make more money - so they can buy more stuff - in EMC - you will have enough money to buy what you actually need. All economic slavery jobs where people are forced to do it to survive will end if people do not have to do it

Will we have more free time in an EMC - definitely - as we employ all the labour of each person - it will take less time to get the same job done. Every person will still work the same amount of time - this must be agreed on by all. For those whose jobs simply doesn't take up that much time or if a person's job is replaced by that of a machine - the Compassion Department of the Company will take care of you. This Department of the company creates jobs that will benefit society as a whole.

Sufficient pay:

... WHAT IS PROFIT-SHARE?
Currently profit is the money a company makes after they have covered their costs, including paying out wages. In an EMC - profit comprises of all the added value that is placed on resources - which is your labour. Therefore - within the price, the percentage share must be included of each one that was part of the creation of the product in such a way that each one ends up with an equal share of the company's profits, so - there will be no need for wages - as the profit becomes your wage.

EQUALIZING WAGES – COOPERATION AMONG CORPORATIONS
If a company at any time makes more money than they need to provide each one with their equal share of the profit as well as covering their costs - those monies will go into a fund that is responsible for assisting companies that are not making sufficient to cover their costs and provide each one with their fair share. That way a balancing effect takes place so that all companies are not only cooperatives in how they cooperate internally - but all cooperate with each other as well…." Community Based Companies:

 

“Monopolies
Q: Will we only have a few companies doing the same thing? And will the work be divided up? Like, will a company have a certain part of the world to look after?

A: With EMC, we are moving away from monopolies, where a select amount of big corporations has control over particular products. Companies will be far more regional and community based as companies will exist from a point of responsibility towards their particular community. Within EMC, providing goods and services is not an opportunity to ‘hit it big’ in the world – it is how one contributes to society to make Life on Earth a worthwhile experience for everyone. When companies are locally based and operational, transport costs will of course also be cut down, which will reduce pressure on the environment.” (Day 170: Companies and Industries in EMC)



So, firstly, full employment will be treated as a necessity, as everyone requires employment to provide one and one’s family with an income.

By ensuring proper compensation for one’s labor through Equalizing Profit-Share, no one will need to work more than one job, and won’t need to work as many hours, or in compromising conditions, to still earn an income that will support one effectively, thus reducing the need for so many jobs as we will get more out of less. And through the Equalizing of Wages and the aspect of Cooperation among Corporations, this will stabilize companies, which stabilizes job security for individuals, as we won’t have companies going belly up thanks to giant corporation monopoly take-overs pushing out all the competition.

The Environmental Department will provide many jobs once we start to look at effectively taking care of and cleaning up the Earth.

The Compassion department will open up many jobs that provide support and assistance to those requiring it, such as the elderly, childcare, and disaster relief.

Thus, we will have plenty of jobs, and the time one needs to spend working to make enough to effectively support oneself will decrease. Companies will be stabilized so that there is no worry about a company failing and losing one’s job, and if for some reason a company ends, like if for example it is decided a company is not needed and is closed down, or you are not getting enough hours, or your job is replaced by a machine, there is the Compassion Department that will take care of you.

The Rewards:

At an Individual Level

For most individuals this means you will no longer have to worry about job security or financial security. You’ll no longer have to work overtime to make ends meet. You won’t have to work most of your life, you’ll be able to retire much earlier in life.

No more fear about how to get a job, or a decent job that pays enough. No more filling out countless job applications to probably not be picked, from a selection of jobs that are really only slavery jobs and not an actual benefit to life. Thus you’ll have real job satisfaction, no longer feeling like your job is just going to give someone else profits while you slave your life away.

All stress in individuals, couples, families, due to financial/job instability will vanish, as one’s survival no longer ‘hangs in the balance’ and one is no longer competing with everyone else to get the jobs available and hopefully one that pays enough and doesn’t require one to spend most of your time working. You’ll have more time to actually enjoy life, time to spend with your family, and doing the things you would like to pursue but are always too busy working.

On a Global Level

We’ll stop destroying the Earth through unsustainable practices, and cut down the pressure we’re putting on the ecosystem by utilizing so many excess resources in jobs that are of no benefit to life, or are simply not making sure they are not having a detrimental effect on the environment.
All the abuse taking place within the labor system currently and slave labor will end, there will be no unfair labor practices. This means ending Animal abuse where individuals utilize animals simply to create products that aren’t necessary just to provide themselves and their families with some income to survive.

Thus we will overall live in a world where we can have peace of mind that everyone including ourselves are taken care of and will not be left hung to dry if something goes wrong in the economy, where one foul turn can mean the loss of jobs and the loss of lives. A world where our entire ecosystem is of the best quality. And we as humans can really begin to explore what it means to be here, and get to enjoy ourselves here, no longer caught up in a rat race, just trying to survive.

Day 86: Humanity has Relationship Problems

Here’s two examples that show that there is a serious problem with humanity, as how we’re existing and the relationships we have toward what is here, in this case, the animals. These are two cases of extreme abuse that was done to cats, one of the fellow life forms that exist on this planet with us:

This is obviously not how you treat other beings, it’s not what you’d do to yourself, or want done to yourself, and this shows that mis-education has/is taking place, that we’re creating humans that decide to commit such acts, despite the common sense that these are not the kind of experiences that any being would want to go through, and in total disregard of the consequences that one is doing unto another, where these beings will be forever affected by the abuse done. 

This shows that our parenting and education-is-mind-control>education as it currently exists is not effective and requires serious correction, and investigation into the relationships that we’re being taught as children toward what is here, as the animals, nature, other humans, as the relationships that we’re living as, most of which were learned at a young age, by our parents as the primary source of our earliest education, who were raised with the same principles as their parents, and so on through the generations, we’ve been passing on the same acceptances and allowances, and one can simply see by looking at how the world currently exists and what is taking place, that how we are educating ourselves is not effective and is leading to a world full of abuse and suffering, instead of leading to a place that is fun for everyone, where life is supported and cared for, not used and abused to the very detriment of all life here. 

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to exist as a society that does not educate itself as its children, on how to properly live in this physical reality and care for what is here, as nature, the animals, other humans. 

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that such events happening as these two cases of animal abuse are an indication that humanity’s accepted nature must be actively changed, and that this means that I as an individual must start the change within myself, into a being that cares for life, and considers life, equally. 

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize the consequences of accepting the idea/belief that animals are ‘less than’ humans would be that we will then justify the abuse of animals, and thus by living as this belief/idea that animals are less than humans in any way, I am responsible for the abuse that is accepted and allowed to be done to animals all over the world every day. 

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to accept a society where we’re not taught the importance of the other life forms that exist here with us, as nature and the animals, but rather that they are here for us to exploit and use as we see fit, which leads to us not caring for nature/animals in a way that supports the earth which in turn supports us to live and exist here. 

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to accept parenting to exist where there exists no real support for parent or child in how to effectively live in this world with the other beings that we share the earth with, and within this that there is not provided to every parent adequate and effective training in how to properly educate one’s child to grow and develop into a being that is of benefit to life and not a harm to it. 

 I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to see stories about the abuse that goes on in the world and to think ‘gosh, that’s terrible’, and then brush it off and not give it another moment’s consideration, because I’ve accepted my training of not caring about the world and the forms in it and the idea that ‘it’s not my problem’ or ‘there’s nothing I can do about it’ or ‘that’s just the way it is’, without even investigating into what is going on in the world so that I can find out what is causing it, and whether a solution is possible. 

I commit myself to investigating, learning and educating myself on how to properly live in this physical reality and care for what is here, as nature, the animals, other humans, and within this, I commit myself to showing what I have learned as the effective way to exist and coexist with all the other forms in this reality in a way that supports all life. 

I commit myself to realizing that the harmful behavior we participate in is the result of the nature we accept ourselves to exist as, and thus the patterns we’ve accepted ourselves to exist as that are abusive and harm must be stopped, and that these patterns are participated in on an individual level, and thus must be stopped in each and every individual, and within the realization that only self can change oneself, each and every individual must investigate and change oneself and one’s accepted nature, and thus I commit myself to investigating the relationships I live/exist as and stopping any way that cause harm and permit abuse to exist in this world. 

I commit myself to sorting out and stopping any way in which I have lived in separation to/toward what is here, as nature/the animals/other humans, and to consider all equally as we’re all equal in that we are all here as a part of this existence, in the realization that who and what I live as is what I manifest into this world, and thus I commit myself to ensure that who/what I live as is such that will manifest a world without abuse. 

I commit myself to showing the importance of the other forms we exist in this world with as nature and the animals, in order to assist humanity to understand the impact we’re having as the damage we’re causing to our own home, by not taking into consideration the animals and nature and the importance of maintaining a balance in the ecosystem in which we live, so that we can provide the best quality life for all beings including ourselves. 

I commit myself to show how current parenting is resulting in adults with the behaviors that are the cause of the harm that is taking place in the world to nature, the animals and each other, and to show how what’s needed is absolute support and adequate support for each and every parent so that no parent brings a child into this world where that child will be educated to become one that abuse life, and thus I commit myself to doing what it takes to establish an effective system where all parents and children are given the utmost support to become individuals that care for themselves and the world they live in, as that will manifest a world that is best for all. 

I commit myself to realizing my responsibility as a being here that is able to take action, as I am one of the minority that is supported by the current system, and thus have the ability to investigate into what is really going on in the world and how we are causing the abuse that exists and to find possible solutions, and thus I commit myself to doing so, in educating myself to how this world and reality operates and how we create and manifest a world of inequality, within the realization that it is us that create inequality, as there is plenty to go around and we have every capability to ensure that all have what they need, and thus I commit myself to showing that we are the ones that are responsible and thus the solution is to stop allowing abuse of life, and be/become beings that care for life and care for our home here, as it is ourself.

Day 50: Stepping Out of Character: 'I am Vegan / Vegetarian'

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that when I live the character of ‘Vegan/Vegetarian’ that this means I am ‘doing my part’ to stop animal abuse, and that I am living a lifestyle that is actually going to lead to the end of animal abuse.

 I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize the extent of how unaware I am of the entirety of the situation in existence as to how/why animal abuse is taking place and all the dimensions that is involved, that I could come to believe that I am actually able to not take part in animal abuse, in believing that it’s possible to end the abuse by simply buying products that do not involve the abuse of animals, not considering that no matter what I buy, the very system I am buying it within the very system that is driving the animal abuse that takes place in this world – and thus I am still supporting animal abuse, still participating in animal abuse, and still responsible for animal abuse. Therefore-

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to ignore the fact that my participation in and living as the character of Vegan or Vegetarian was to feed and perpetuate an idea of myself as ‘caring’ and ‘making a difference’ and not actually having the result that I am apparently standing for of ending animal abuse, as I am not taking the necessary action that could possibly actually lead to the end of animal abuse, as no longer supporting the current system and standing up to establish and create a new system which will enable us to actually stop animal abuse, as within the current system that is based on profit and inequality it is impossible to stop animal abuse. See the Equal Money System as the equality based system busy being developed within the starting point of supporting life and ending all abuse.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not consider how I took on the character of Vegan / Vegetarian so I could have the ‘feeling’ like I am having a positive impact on the world, so I could ‘feel good’ about myself – which shows that it was simply a character as an act I put on with the starting point and focus being myself – and having a positive experience/feeling about/toward myself, and not actually about stopping animal abuse.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to imagine in my mind all the animal lives I was ‘saving’ by no longer apparently consuming animal products, and using this picture to create the idea of myself for myself that I am having some kind of impact on animal abuse, within this, focusing on the lives I believed I was saving and ignoring all the rest of the animal abuse that was still taking place and that I’d had no impact on whatsoever, within the justification that I am doing ‘what I can’ and that in, according to my mind, having apparently ‘saved’ a few animals that that was all that really could be expected of me, and all the possible impact I could have, as I can’t control/effect everyone else that is still using products made from animals. Within this not considering that I can in fact have an impact on others, as we all already do impact each other through the examples that we live as the actions we take and the words we speak, and through accepting and allowing the current money system which keeps the majority of the earth’s population enslaved in wage-slavery with little or no choice in what one has access to as one’s needs to be able to choose products that are not made from animals. Thus – 

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that the characters of Vegan and Vegetarian are elitist lifestyles created and perpetuated to serve consumerism, as those who are poor/in poverty have little to no choice in what they consume and whether it is of animal or not.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not consider that in living the character of Vegan or Vegetarian, I am creating and participating in a polarity of plants vs animals, wherein I am placing animals as more important than plants, and not considering that abuse that is done to plants as well, wherein I have decided within myself that something/someone has to suffer/pay the price for me to live, and it will be the plants, and thus within this there is no equality and oneness as consideration for all live equally as all life is of the same substance and all forms are part of this earth and this existence.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not consider how I act when I am living as the character of Vegan or Vegetarian, as how I experience myself when I tell others that I am vegan/vegetarian, where I feel a positive charge/feeling for being a ‘good person’ who is ‘doing the right thing’ and used this definition in comparison to others who are not vegan/vegetarian and felt superior toward them, like I am better than them because they are abusing animals, while ignoring that I am still abusing animals, as animals have been and are abused within everything that is made from this earth, as in no way are we actually taking into consideration and caring for the animals, or nature/the environment or ourselves, as all equal parts of existence here, and in no way are living in such a way that is supporting life, but are rather accepting destruction of the earth to take place on a massive scale, where there is only a tiny fraction of area on the land of the earth where animals live unmolested, as we’ve literally taken over the whole planet within the overconsumption driven by the current system by those who seek to profit off of the earth, in total disregard for the immense destruction being done to the earth, animals, nature, and humans.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not consider that I decided to become and live as the character of the vegan/vegetarian due to memories, wherein I had seen pictures of animals being abused and felt bad and powerless to stop the abuse that had already taken place within the image/picture, and when the idea of becoming vegan/vegetarian was presented I took it on in order to feel like I was doing something and was not powerless after all - within this showing that I lived this character as a way of directing how I was experiencing myself within myself, to make myself feel better, so in essence I became the vegan/vegetarian character in order to experience myself a certain way, and thus the starting point is not to become a force that can influence the world to actually make a change like ending abuse.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that I am wreaking havoc on my physical body and the physical reality by living as characters as information that I’ve taken on and lived as myself that is based on ideas /opinions/beliefs that I learned/read/heard from somewhere, without ensuring that the information is valid as that which if lived will lead to a world where life is supported.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that to live as/according to the mind as my beliefs/thoughts/perceptions/feelings/emotions/opinions, I am harming the physical, as I am not living as the physical and thus according to what the physical requires and what actually supports the physical.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that the character I live as is a personality suit that I put on in order to make myself feel like/believe that I am something I’m not in actuality.

I commit myself to no longer living as a character for the sake of thinking/believing I am making a difference/having an impact in the world, and commit myself to ensure that who I am will actually have an impact on the earth.

I commit myself to realizing that to end abuse, we must change the money system, as the money system stands as our acceptance of abuse to be done to life as ourselves, nature, the animals, and it’s through the current system that animal abuse is perpetuated, and thus I commit myself to supporting the Equal Money System, as a system where life is valued as the only real value, and thus abuse will not be allowed, and we can begin to reform the balance of nature that should be existing here.

I commit myself to realizing that to live as a character is a criminal act, as I will defend my character no matter whether such character accepts and allows abuse to exist in the world, as a character must be defended because it isn’t real, and thus I commit myself to investigating and finding every way that I live as a character, so that I can stop and become a real being that lives in consideration of life – not as an ego that seeks to be validated and feel good about itself no matter the cost to life.
