Day 192: Is Responsibility Power?

So how is it that we have taken what just might be our Most Powerful Ability – and Reversed it into our Ultimate Limitation? Now what you’ll find when you look at humanity and how the mind work – is that everything that could have been a way to expand ourselves, has within the mind been reversed into a way to limit ourselves. And this is so for what we call Responsibility. Which when you break it down, is – Response Ability. So it’s the ability to respond in a situation/to a situation. But we don’t normally see it that way do we? Responsibility is often given a negative association, where it is seen as ‘obligation’ or ‘duty’ like something you are apparently supposed to do or must do – I mean, how I learned responsibility was essentially like ‘doing your chores’, which you ‘have to do’ because ‘it’s expected of you’ by an ‘authority’ such as a parent, or else you will be punished if you don’t.

For a detailed look at how words are programmed into us by parents as children with energy which then corrupt the meaning and thus the living of the word, suggest listen to the Parenting series of interviews available on Eqafe: Parenting - Perfecting the Human Race

Now, this is not a particularly self empowering definition of Responsibility and no one like to be or feel ‘forced’ to do anything, and so this ‘version’ of ‘Responsibility’ is usually met with resistance. And so this then becomes one’s stance toward anything perceived as a responsibility as something that one has to/must do or else. And so, we form a pattern of seeking to avoid any and all responsibility in our lives, because we want to be ‘free’ to choose what we want to do and not be forced to do things. So within this, we form an overall detrimental relationship to Responsibility, and where a lack of responsibilities is seen as a positive thing. Imagine for instance – summer vacation – school is out, no more responsibilities for the moment – you are Absolutely Free, to do Absolutely Nothing.

Whoops. Is that what we really wanted? To avoid doing things? Is that really an engaging way to exist that is worthwhile? Does it lead to a more expansive and fulfilling life? Or one that is increasingly more and more limited where one’s world seem to get smaller and smaller and smaller? Is that really the path we want to go down? Or is it the one we choose because we didn’t see there was an alternative? Which was to – take Responsibility.

Because what was missed within this, is what Responsibility does in fact entail, what it really means, and how it is actually our greatest power. Because, you can’t control anything that you separate yourself from. When you give up your responsibility in any aspect of your life, and rather take on a stance of avoiding responsibility, you make yourself a powerless ‘victim’ if you will, of your world/environment. Essentially saying, ‘world - do what you will to me, I wash my hands of any responsibility’. As if somehow this is what we want, as if being powerless is somehow going to benefit me in any way whatsoever? How can that be? If I rather take responsibility for/wherever I can, I place myself in a position to be able to do something about my world/reality/the situation.

Basically, in a nutshell, you go from avoiding/giving up the ability to do anything in your life/world/relationships/scenarios, and rather shift your focus to what you Can do. And thus, you are always looking for what you can do to take action, to make a change, to have an impact, to correct situations that come up, which is the ultimate self empowerment. Because you are going from – I’ll just do nothing and let everything happen to me for better or, more often, worse – to – how/where/what am I able to do because I’m not willing to wait around for things to somehow change without me having to do anything, because, it’s not going to happen.

And we can see this stance on the large scale in the world, where we have on a collective level, accepted ourselves to exist in a system where we are taken advantage of in every possible way, where every possible kind of abuse is allowed in the world, for the sake of profits, instead of focusing on what we actually can do to change the situation.

And further, to really understand Responsibility, it must be realized our connectedness to all that exist here, how we are not separate from any of the various forms and beings that exist in this world that make up our reality and the very planet which we live and exist on as an individual human being. And that it is this world and all the other beings in it that make our life even possible.

Responsibility thus takes on a new definition within the realization that this world is our home and that we depend on it, and it is up to us to take care of it, as that is the same of taking care of ourself. If you have a look around, no one else is here to take care of our world except us, there are no aliens, angels, gods, or whatever that is taking care of anything. Because as you can see everything is really running amok, because we are running amok, and not realizing that harm we are doing to ourselves, because we haven’t yet realized our Responsibility. Which is our ability to change ourselves and this reality, into one that support Life, instead of destroy it.

I urge that every definition, of every word that you live, must be considered within that realization of our connectedness, and how everything we say/do has an effect on this reality and thus, we are response-able – we have the Ability to Respond as proven by the fact that our words and deeds affect reality, as this world is made up of each and every individuals’ collective words and actions.

To get involved with the thousands of others who have also realized their individual responsibility to care for the world that cares for us – join and support Equal Money and investigate Equal Money Capitalism as the transition from what is here as Capitalism into a system that reflects our understanding of our responsibility to care for Life.

Day 191: What’s Required for Change?

Change require an understanding of how one exists and what is the problem with how one is existing, and the decision that one do not want to continue that way creating the same consequence over and over. So what this means is really Facing Oneself.

Facing the Reality of oneself, to really see - in total self honesty – just what/how I am existing as, what have I become in fact, and understanding the context of who I am within existence as how it currently exists.

You can reverse engineer this also to see that the reason we’re existing as we do and not changing is because we haven’t yet seen in self honesty and full understanding what we are/have become and the consequence we create. So we don’t have the context to yet understand what is the problem with how we’re living, to then understand why change is necessary, and especially how to change for real.

A good example of this you will see in the show Thailand - Blood , Sweat and Takeaways - Chicken where before they were exposed to the reality of what is going on in the world, they were fine with how they were living, but when realizing the context in which food products are being produced for the elite of the world by slave labor, and by going and experiencing that slave labor and that reality for themselves, then the need for change become obvious. The gravity of the situation become obvious, and the reality of how and what one has been existing is, and how that fit in to the context of how reality is currently existing, is then understood, where one realizes for example how most of the complaints one may have are quite petty in comparison to the actual suffering that’s going on in the world, and one realize that one has been living and benefiting off of the blood, sweat and tears of others without any regard or consideration for the lives that are sacrificed in the process.

And, ultimately, that one is responsible for the fact that such suffering exist, because we didn’t question where things came from or how they are made so cheap, when we know it must mean someone else is paying the price. It is this way, because we have accepted it, within our living, within every moment in which we ignored the reality so we could have cheap things. And thus the solution is to change ourselves, change the words we speak, change our living, from support of Ignorance of reality, to spreading Awareness of What’s Really Going On, why it’s a Problem, how We’re Responsible, so that we can then understand why we need to change, and then actually change, to no longer accept ourselves to benefit at another’s expense, as we wouldn’t want to be in that position either, so that this lead to actual change in reality, and ending slave labor.

So what do we know – if slave labor hasn’t ended yet – we haven’t effectively changed yet. We haven’t yet made change in reality – because reality hasn’t changed – it’s still the same, the same things going on, the same abuse, the same suffering. Whatever we’ve done thus far, has not been effective. And that’s because up till now, we have really only paid Lip Service to the problems in the world, but not ever getting down to the point of actually changing reality. Nothing has changed, and thus up to now it has just been Empty words, because we did not live them.

So, because there has been no substantial change in the world – we know we have not yet got an effective understanding of ourselves, of the reality of the situation, of our responsibility for how the world exists as it does, of the consequence that we’re creating. We have for so long, never got around to actually facing reality, facing ourselves, holding on to the hope that somehow we can just keep ignoring what we’re doing, and everything will work out anyway. Yes, it’s quite ridiculous.

We have for so long, accepted a reality in which massive abuse and suffering exists, when the solution has been here all along, which is – to CHANGE. So – why have we not really got this point? What is it that has made such a simple and obvious solution, so apparently not obvious or simple? What has been so instrumental in us not ever effectively applying change? It is – Responsibility. What do I mean? That we have never grasped our responsibility, and in fact what responsibility really means. A fascinating thing – we have taken that which is our truest power, and formed such a resistance to it, that we’d cut ourselves off from that which is our ability to have power in our lives and have a real impact in reality, to make Real Change.

We will look at this further in the next blog – of what Responsibility actually is and how we’ve misunderstood it to the extent that we’ve robbed ourselves of our Real Power in this world.

Day 185: WHY ME - Drunk on the Whine of Imagination

www.Desteni.org

In this blog post we are now continuing from this previous post: Day 183: Everything that Happens to Me is Another Excuse to Feel Bad, in which I have started to open up the point of taking what’s going on in my reality, events that are taking place or that happen throughout the day, which I would define as negative, and take it personally in a ‘why me’ victim type character. And I formed such a habit, such an addiction to this character, that I still live it to this day, and that is why I am here blogging about it – to assist and support myself to stop this pattern, through walking myself through it, point by point, within specific detail, in order to identify the pattern so that I can recognize it when it is happening and what it is that triggers it, to give myself the opportunity and ability to stop what has essentially become an automated process, to the extent where I would act on it immediately in a situation when a particular trigger arise.

The problem with living as this pattern of participating in the mind within making myself a victim to everything within my imagination, where I imagine that everything else s to blame for how I experience myself, is that I manifest all kinds of consequence for myself that just isn’t necessary at all. I mean, why would I want to create consequence for myself to go through if I really don’t have to? It doesn’t make any sense, it has just become an automated habit, that I do because it’s become what I’m used to/addicted to as I’ve what I’ve accepted is ‘normal’.

The effects are really not pleasant, there is depression and getting upset/overwhelmed with emotions, which is a really draining experience, and takes quite a toll on the physical, is a big waste of time – why do I want to spend the breaths that I have here in this life, within a self-created shit-storm of emotions and feelings, when I could simply be here, stable as myself and really get to know myself as this actual reality that is here, no longer caught up in an imaginary reality in my mind – and it interferes with my relationships, as I go into blame and reaction instead of just being here with another person and not creating any drama. Do I really want to be ‘unwittingly’ acting out a role in a Drama as the Star in my own Play, where I ‘play out’ the patterns in my mind, over and over again?

No way.

How can I enjoy myself or myself with another being, when I am possessed within an experience in my mind? When I am in this character I am definitely am not enjoying myself. It is quite a disempowering experience, as I am literally disempowering myself by giving my ‘power’ away to thoughts/feelings/emotions/my mind, in essentially saying ‘go ahead, you take over and direct me now’ within just the simple acceptance of myself as being what comes up in my mind as an experience of myself. And instead of living, I become an observer of my own life, and then a reaction to that observation, and so am not really here living, I’m just a reaction to an observation – how limited.

The Solution to this problem is the application of a process of self forgiveness and commitment to self correction, as has been discussed in previous blogs, where one utilize writing (or typing) as a tool for self change, through self investigation, as within one’s writing, one can see who one is, as the words one live, find the patterns self exist/live as that are not supportive, and to rescript oneself into corrective application, to assist and support self to actually change one’s living. Thus, I’ll be walking this series of posts on this topic of this ‘why me’ VICTIM Character, in between walking the series on WAR which began in the previous post.

Essentially the essence of e Victim character is to immediately utilize any excuse/reason/justification to go into a point of limitation, placing myself as a victim to my world/reality, really anything, instead of what in common sense would be much more worthwhile would be to always look how I can take responsibility, within this always looking at/considering in any given situation, what ability do I have to respond – ultimately expanding oneself at every opportunity.

Which brings us to the Rewards of no longer existing as this pattern. I mean, why stop this pattern? It is so easy to continue living as it, as it’s what I’ve gotten used to, and thus to stop it is not going to feel ‘normal’ or ‘natural’, in fact it is going to go exactly against what I feel comfortable with, what I even believe/think/perceive I am capable of, as this is how I’ve always existed practically my whole life since when I was a child in the first seven years.

From that perspective it’s not going to be easy, it’s not going to ‘feel good’, and thus how/why so many are trapped within the ‘only do what feels good trap’ to never take the opportunities where one might actually expand oneself into real living here, because one deliberately ignore what is uncomfortable. But like anyone who has struggled at something new, to eventually become good at it, can realize that new things are not easy in the beginning, as one has to push oneself beyond what one is already capable of, for example, with physical activities, one is going to be sore as one develop one’s muscles to perform certain tasks and maneuvers that one hasn’t done before.
Thus the key is to not stop at the point of discomfort, but to push through, realizing that it is the indication for a point of self change and self expansion, through self willed self application to breathe and move through any resistance.

Thus in terms of this Victim Character, what one essentially stands to gain, is literally life itself as actual real living to one’s full potential, through no longer accepting and becoming limitation. Within this, you will constantly be expanding your abilities in this world to constantly be able to do more and go beyond what you could before.

As we go further into specifics of this Character of Victimhood in posts to come, we’ll uncover in more specificity the nature and design of this character, to better recognize the pattern of behavior and how it activates and takes-over within a process of mind participation within thoughts, imagination, backchat, emotions, and feelings, where one completely and totally limit oneself, instead of recognizing an opportunity to develop self as self will, self expression and becoming more than one ever thought possible.

To be continued..

Day 176: Why Poverty? Park Avenue: The 1% Feeding Off the Masses

Here comes a documentary from Why Poverty? Suggest to subscribe to their channel on Youtube, share their videos and support them as they’re producing some documentaries that really expose the situation of extreme inequality existent in the world, assisting humanity to wake up to what it is we’re doing.
The documentary we’re taking a look at here is: Park Avenue: money, power and the American dream - Why Poverty?

PARK AVENUE: How much inequality is too much?

740 Park Ave, New York City, is home to some of the wealthiest Americans. Across the Harlem River, 10 minutes to the north, is the other Park Avenue in South Bronx, where more than half the population needs food stamps and children are 20 times more likely to be killed. In the last 30 years, inequality has rocketed in the US -- the American Dream only applies to those with money to lobby politicians for friendly bills on Capitol Hill.

Here this documentary shows the absolute grandeur that a few people live in, some of the wealthiest in the world, not far from those who live in a condition of poverty. In the beginning of the documentary, the example of a Monopoly game is utilized to show how our current system is operating. This is quite a cool basic way to see what is going on. Where, in the game, everyone starts out with equal money and equal position and so everyone has an ‘equal chance’ to win, from that perspective. Yet in reality, in our current money system, we do not all start from the same position. As you’ll see in the documentary, how does the game go, when it is played more like real life, where you have poor players and rich players. Do the poor players have any kind of a chance? Certainly not an equal opportunity, like is so commonly presented by those that would support the current system, that apparently ‘everyone can make it’.

But this kind of ‘logic’ shows a significant deficit in even the most basic reasoning ability of the human. As can be seen within the example of the Monopoly game as played with poor players and rich player, such a simple demonstration points out what is really blatantly obvious about the current system, that really can be seen with even just the slightest glance at how the system is operating and what people are experiencing and what it takes to ‘make it’ in this system – that all do not have an equal chance, all cannot ‘make it’, and most will not ‘make it’ but will suffer from lack of the basic necessities of physical living. That the game is entirely rigged, so that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, which is exactly what’s happening.

How we can ignore the fact that we know full well that if someone doesn’t have a job, or sufficient income from a job, the result is they will suffer, so knowing that, why have we not ensured that all have a job? All the politicians that say they will work to produce jobs, yet there are people unemployed. Lots of people unemployed. There shouldn’t even be one single person unemployed. Even just one person without a job is a problem as that one person is without a sufficient income to have a dignified life, and not suffer needlessly. Except for those who are unable to work, for which there must be Compassion.

And so there must also be compassion for those who find themselves unemployed, and this why within Equal Money Capitalism will be a Compassion Department, which you can read a bit more about in the Economist’s Journey to Life where it has been mentioned in these posts so far:

Day 168: The Future of Integrity with Equal Money Capitalism

Because it’s simple math, it comes down to a simple math equation, that shows that the human does not even comprehend very basic math: Job = survival, no job = no survive, so we know what happens then if someone can’t get a job, it means no money means no survive, so obviously don’t let people die. We’re obviously letting people die, because we didn’t make sure there is A) enough jobs, and B) a back-up plan if something goes wrong. Because the game we’re playing here is no game, it is Life and Death. We are playing a Game with Life and Death. And you would not want your Life and Death to be in such a state of fragility. That is why you cling to your relative comfort, out of Fear, because that comfort is not guaranteed, it is Fragile. Just look how much humanity fear Death, that we live in this fear right up until we do die, and sacrifice our entire lives in this one fear.

I mean, you have the 400 richest in America, equal to 150 million people. This is a massive failure of math. It’s a basic understood math principle that two sides of the equation must add up or there is consequence. One life = one life. No life is worth more than another. When we consider one life worth more than another, we create separation, we create a life that is ‘Worth-less’ where we wouldn’t want to live that life, we want to live the life that is ‘More’, because what we failed to realize that ‘More and Less’ is a Trap that we fell into, and we couldn’t get out to see the obvious solution of ‘the Best life for ALL’. So that no matter who you are, where you are, when you are, what you are, you have the best life possible. Why would we settle for anything less?

Suggest to listen to The Soul of Money series on Eqafe for an in-depth understanding of our relation to the money system as the outer manifestation of Consciousness.

For context listen to 2012: How to Become Life

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to ignore that I have always seen what’s going on within myself within my mind and within this existence.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not stand up and take action in this world within the excuse of ‘what’s the point’ or ‘what’s the use’.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not face what is really going on this world because I do not want to admit that things have gotten out of my control, and that will ‘hurt’ my pride/ego.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to go into the state of uselessness and powerlessness, feeling like I am a victim and can’t do anything to change the world.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that when I am within that state of uselessness/powerlessness that I am actually in a state of possession, wherein I am only that point of uselessness and powerless and become it, where that’s all that I’ll see, all that I’ll live and all that I’ll experience.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize if I am living within fear, that I am possessed by fear where fear is all that I’ll become, all that I’ll see, all that I’ll live and all that I’ll experience.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see that when I live as fear, that I become spiteful and nasty, as the origin of spitefulness and nastiness is fear, and that when I act nasty and spiteful it is showing that I am actually accepting and allowing myself to be possessed by fear.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that I must actually walk the process of self realization and self honesty for myself in seeing for myself what I accept and allow to go on within me within my mind, as only I can see my thoughts and what I participate in within my mind.

I commit myself to realize that the excuse of ‘it is useless/I am powerless’ is just that - an excuse, to not stand up and change, and thus I commit myself to stand as an example that it is not ‘useless/’ and I am not ‘powerless’ by changing myself and my nature to such that will have an actual impact on this world and reality, by walking the process of taking back my ‘power’ that I have given away to the mind by participating in excuses and backchat such as ‘it is useless/I am powerless’.

I commit myself to realizing that it is me that actually create and am responsible for what I experience and what I exist as, by/through what I decide and accept and allow myself to participate in and become.

I commit myself to no longer accepting and allowing myself to be/become possessed by energetic mind reactions/experiences such as fear and uselessness/powerlessness, wherein I become that point and only that point as I allow it to literally ‘take me over’ and all that I see, hear, experience, will be of fear or of powerlessness.

I commit myself to being aware of the fact that I do see what goes on in my mind and what is going on in this reality, and within this, to directly face what is here within/as myself and this reality, to sort out that which does not stand as what is best for life.

I commit myself to realizing that avoiding/pretending I don’t see what is really going on within this world/myself in order to protect my ‘pride/ego’ is an act of abuse wherein I am allowing the world to be in a mess for the sake of protecting an idea of myself as ‘superior/good/right’, when that idea/image of me isn’t even real and only exists within my mind, and not in reality, because who I am is allowing this world to suffer, instead of taking practical action to ensure that this reality is actually as it should be and that I am living in such a way that I am not accepting and allowing suffering and abuse to exist in my world.

I commit myself to realizing that ego is based on deception and self delusion, as it is dependent on an image of self within the mind, where one in one’s mind try to make oneself look good, while one’s standing in actual reality, is manifesting a world full of abuse and suffering. Thus-

I commit myself to stopping participation in/as ego, within the realization that it is not real and what I require to focus on is who I am in actual reality, as who and what I live as within my words and actions as the example that I set for all and what I accept and allow to exist in this reality, as it’s what I do and say in reality that determines my character, not an image that I create in my mind.
