Day 71: The ‘I Don’t Want to Miss-Out’ Character

We were woken up in the middle of the night- a neighbor’s field was on fire and the guys were being asked to go help put it out. So as a girl I was not being asked to go along. A picture, as a ‘negative’ thought, popped up in my mind where I stayed home, and they come back talking about how fun it was and then I’ll feel like I really missed out and be really disappointed that I didn’t go. And then the ‘positive’ thought came up of if I went along, and in the picture I was experiencing myself as having a fun and exciting time. So here is the initial negative thought, and the following positive thought that hooks you in to believing this perception of reality, accepting the thoughts as valid, where you’ll then act according to the thoughts.

So the moment after I had the trigger thought come up, I then experienced a strong urge to go with them, and the backchat was like ‘if I don’t go, I’m going to miss out on a fun time, a fun experience, and then I will regret it’. In this moment, because I have been assisting and supporting myself in getting an understanding of how character creation and activation works, I saw that this was a character that was being activated and I could see the thought that activated it, and that the thought is really only a thought and not reality, and thus that I was actually manipulating myself with a thought.

I experienced an anxiety and an urgency that in past experiences I have actually acted on in moments, where I felt like ‘oh man, if I don’t go do this I am really going to regret it, and I’m going to miss a great time, that I can have as a memory that I can add to my collection of memories that I hold onto as ‘who I am’ to feel like I ‘am somebody’ because I have apparently ‘lived’. When it only shows that who I am accepting myself to be is not life but is memories if I am busy holding onto memories and believing that my memories make me who I am, instead of being here actually living.

So then I would actually go and do the thing, whatever it was, just out of this fear of missing out, like for example going out clubbing with some friends, where when I would be invited to go out clubbing, or when the idea was proposed, I would picture myself there having such an awesome time, and I didn’t want to miss-out on that awesome time, so I would just immediately agree to go if I was able to.

However, since the thought as the picture of me having a really good time there, was really only just a thought and not reality, reality did not always go as I had pictured it. What I really didn’t want to miss-out on was how I thought I would experience myself in such situation, it wasn’t the physical event that I actually cared about or wanted to have, but how I would feel, like that I would feel like I am ‘cool’ and ‘superior’. So when I’d actually be in the situation, I’d then be convincing myself in my backchat/internal conversations that ‘yeah, I am having a really great time, and man I feel so cool for being in this special place with this special music and special decorations all for me to be here and feel like I am special for being here. Not considering/realizing that it is all staged exactly for that purpose, to assist me in concocting an energetic experience within myself, and thus not an actual real experience, but a made-up one, just a fantasy in my mind.

So within this, the irony is that what it is that I fear to miss as the ‘I don’t want to miss-out’ character, is the experience as how I’ll feel, which I create myself anyway. I am the one that is creating the experience to apparently be something ‘special’ that I ‘don’t want to miss-out on’, and thus I am creating and trapping myself within my own polarity cycle of ‘I don’t want to miss out on the fun I’ll have there’ and then while I’m there, telling myself ‘Oh man, I am having so much fun’ as, I must be having so much fun, as I imagined I would, and I came here just for that purpose, because I believed that it would be fun, so now I must convince myself that it is, otherwise I will realize that there wasn’t anything really to miss-out on, and then won’t have this excuse to generate this energy and ‘fun-time’ experience.

Thus, within this not realizing that I am the one that created the belief that such event is going to be fun, and then become my own self-fulfilling prophecy within ‘making it’ be true by then hyping up the experience and convincing myself in my backchat/internal conversation that ‘I really am having so much fun, and so it really was worth it to go, as otherwise I would have missed-out on ‘all this’ as the experience that I’m having that I’m actually creating within myself, so that the next time the thought comes up, I will again immediately have the urge to go, and will act on it, and thus become an effective slave to my mind as a pattern cycling over and over again. Where, when I participate in this character, I am not even considering what I would actually like to do in the moment, and in fact, am not even able to consider what I like, as the energy of the desire to go takes over, and I get caught in the polarity game, of ‘Oh man, I should go or I might miss out on a really fun time, but well, maybe I don’t really want to go, maybe it won’t be that much fun and then I will regret going, so what do I do??’.

As long as I am existing as this character, I will not be able to make an effective decisions as I won’t be able to see clearly what is actually practical to do in the moment, and what it is I’d actually like to do, in the context of being a physical being here and expressing myself. Thus, in the next post I’ll continue with the process of deconstructing this character and apply self forgiveness and corrective statements.

Day 70: Corrective Statements on the ‘Fear of Failure’ Character

I commit myself to stop existing as the ‘Fear of Failure’ Character.

I commit myself to realizing that it is only a thought that triggers the character of ‘fear of failure’ that comes up so immediately I do not notice it, and thus I commit myself to when this character is activated, investigate myself and become aware of what thought triggered me to go into this character, to identify the thought so that I can recognize the thought and stop becoming and living as this character.

I commit myself to realizing that thoughts are not who I am, and that if I am controlled and directed by a thought, then I am not really here as myself, and thus I commit myself to not accepting myself as a thought, so that I can be here as myself as an actual being, and not just living as a thought that isn’t real.

I commit myself to realize that the thought of me failing does not actually exist, and that the only way I can ‘know’ that I am going to fail is if I am already creating it myself, as what hasn’t happened isn’t determined yet, and thus it is me accepting the thought of failure as real that makes it real, as I’ll then live according to and as that thought/belief.

I commit myself to realizing that I am in fact responsible for creating myself as failure when I believe/accept/live as the fear of failure, and thus it is my response ability to stop creating myself as failure by no longer accepting/participating in the character of ‘fear of failure’.

I commit myself to when and as I notice I am participating in backchat, to stop participating in the backchat as it is only reaffirming my acceptance of myself as failure, and is the literal process where I talk myself into manifesting myself as failure.

I commit myself to when I see myself participate in the backchat of ‘what is the point if I’m just going to fail’, to realize that I am participating in a self belief of myself as failure as the fear of failure character which has been activated/triggered by a thought, and that the consequence of accepting and participating in this thought will be that I will manifest myself as failure, as if I give in to this backchat, the result will be that I will avoid doing that which I believe I am certainly going to fail, within this giving up possible opportunities to expand myself within applying myself in what I do, rather than sinply accepting myself as limited and ‘unable’, without actually walking a practical process to find out what I’m actually capable of.

I commit myself to when I see myself participate in the backchat ‘Man, I don’t want to go through that’, to stop, within the realization that I am busy convincing myself to accept myself as limited utilizing a picture of ‘what it is I’ll have to go through’ which is actually me projecting what is going to happen, which isn’t actually possible as it hasn’t happened yet,  and thus if I already know what is going to happen as how I am going to experience myself, it indicates that I am living as a repeating pattern of reactions as emotion/feeling experiences and thus am not really living here as life.
I commit myself to when I see myself participate in the backchat ‘Why do I always fail’ to stop, within the realization that I am attempting to manipulate myself with my mind to believe that I ‘always fail’ in order to create an energetic experience within myself, wherein I become that energetic experience for the moment as it takes me over as a literal possession where it is all I see/think/feel/experience, distracting myself from being here and actually applying myself effectively within my world and reality.

I commit myself to become aware through the process of self investigation and getting to know myself, of how I accept and allow myself to be and live as a mind possessed zombie through actually believing in and accepting thoughts as valid and as who I am, so that I can stop living as a zombie to my own personal mind-control that I create for myself within accepting a thought as who I am when it is only a picture in my mind and not real.

I commit myself to no longer sabotage myself by accepting the thought of failure that trigger the character of ‘fear of failure’, to no longer accept my approach to myself and my life to be one of limitation wherein I create myself as failure through my participation in thoughts and backchat, so that I can change my approach to rather seeing how I can grow/develop/expand myself to be most effective and to walk in self trust and vulnerability to explore what I am actually capable of without sabotaging myself within thoughts as projections into the future that dictate who I am and will be, trapping myself in cycles of limitation and suppression, which is not way to live.

Thus, I commit myself to live a life that is real, where I am a real actual physical being here and not controlled and directed by thoughts in my mind that take me away from reality and living what is best for life, which is to be here as a participant that lives according to the principle of doing what is best for all life, in living the example of living a life without fear that I cause myself in my own mind which I allow to suppress and trap me within pictures and memories to not ever move and apply and expand myself here.

Day 47 - Building Character - The Ultimate Trap for Enslavement

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that when I perceive another to be their character, and treat them as their character that I validate that character and assist and support their self-definition as that character, as I within my words and actions toward them are saying, 'yes, that is who you are'.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to within this not realize that if/when I do not validate/see/perceive another as their character, that I give them the opportunity to step out of it and let it go.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not consider that within treating another as if they are their character, I hold them to their character in supporting them to remain in and as the character they have designed themselves as.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not consider that I by expecting and wanting other’s to ‘stay in character’ as how I’ve ‘known them to be’ according to my memories of them, I put them in a position where I am asking them in a subtle way to please act as their character, to put on a literal act for me, and not be themselves.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not consider that why I feel shame after moments where I have supported another to exist/remain in/as their character is because I do realize that I am supporting that being to stay and remain limited within their character, and that I have sabotaged an opportunity to interact with a being for real, as who they really are, but instead have interacted with a character, as a character, and thus given a moment away to the mind as character, instead of living here as life.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that another being is never actually their character, and thus it is always only MY perception and belief that they are their character, and thus by treating them as their character, I am actually sabotaging myself within not really getting to see that being as who they really are, as I am saying, in my eyes, in my reality, you can only be this character that I have defined you as through my perception of you within my thoughts and memories.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to realize that if I have, tacitly or overtly, within the implications of my words and deeds, asked or even demanded others to live as characters for me, then if they do so, they are actually doing as I have asked them to, and thus I am responsible for what I have asked of this reality and what it has provided as a result, wherein I have not made sure that what I ask is in the interest of all, and not the to the detriment of all.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that when/if I fear to 'break' another's character, it is because I am accepting and allowing myself to fear breaking out/'being broken out' of my own characters, because I have defined myself as my character, and thus there will be conflict within myself when I am not able to maintain my character/when my character is not supported by others, because I have not effectively applied the realization for myself that I am not my characters.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that If I had faced and transcended this conflict within myself, then I would not fear to break others character, as I would realize there is nothing to fear, and there is no real conflict, if I am not defining myself as the character I have designed myself as, because then I will have realized the fact that who I am without any characters is still here, as characters are like coats that can be worn and taken off, thus aren’t who you are.

I commit myself to realize that who I am is not a memory, and who I am is here in each and every moment, and without memories I am still here, and thus I commit myself to stop living as the characters I have designed myself to be, as they are based in memories, and as I created them, I can uncreate them, and free myself from my own character trap, to live life here as a real being.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to forget that I created the characters I exist as, so that I could believe they are who I really am, because I wanted to live this idea of myself and believe it was real, so I had to forget that it was actually me that created it and made it up.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to fear stepping out of character, to fear how others may/will react if I stop acting according to how they remember me and have defined me according to their memories, as this fear is what serves to keep us stuck in limitation within constantly keeping each other ‘in line’ with our character definitions, so that none of us ever steps outside of the box, breaks character, but remains trapped within the past as memories within characters of limitation, as by developing ourselves as characters, all we are developing is our thoughts, and not actually developing ourselves as who we actually are in physical reality, but instead only creating and maintaining an image/idea of ourselves that’s never actually real, and then hoping/wishing/wanting/seeking others to validate that image/idea of ourselves, so that we can pretend for ourself that it is actually real, and then we don’t have to face actually developing ourself and changing ourself for real, to become a real being.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that I don’t even know what of me is ‘real’ as I’ve always existed as characters that I’ve created. Within this, I realize this means that I must first walk the deconstruction of all my characters, to then create myself in awareness, as that is the only way to be a ‘real’ being here, as how do I know what Is real – but that it is that which I decide to walk and live within awareness in the context of reality, as a being that stands for life.

I commit myself to stop participating in characters to give myself the opportunity to form myself in awareness in a way that I be an become a being that stands for life.
